About The Position

The Digital Content Specialist at Protolabs is responsible for creating engaging written and designed content that reaches customers through various owned channels, including the website, email, social media, and sales enablement. This hybrid role involves collaborating with the marketing team to develop content strategies and support digital campaigns that align with business goals. The specialist will also assist in designing marketing materials and optimizing digital touchpoints to enhance user experience and brand engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related fields.
  • Minimum 5+ years of content generation experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of digital content experience, including digital copy and design.
  • B2B marketing experience.
  • Strong grasp of digital marketing channels and effective content strategies for those channels.
  • Experience working with copy editors and designers in a creative environment.
  • Independent worker capable of managing multiple projects in parallel.
  • Ability to quickly learn technical information and apply it in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience working cross-functionally and collaboratively in global settings.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience with Monday.com or other project management software.
  • Familiarity with social media publishing tools such as Sprout, HootSuite, CoSchedule, etc.
  • Manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

  • Write clear, concise, and persuasive marketing content for webpages, blogs, social media posts, online and email campaigns, and sales enablement materials.
  • Support email marketing strategies by creating compelling email content in collaboration with the marketing automation team.
  • Translate complex ideas into customer-friendly calls to action using insights from internal subject matter experts.
  • Design marketing and sales enablement materials and templates using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
  • Support website updates and optimize digital touchpoints to enhance user experience, lead generation, and brand engagement.
  • Develop effective content for major organic social media accounts to drive engagement and organic website traffic.
  • Collaborate with the paid media team to create digital campaigns that drive demand on social media.
  • Review digital channel performance to maximize campaign effectiveness using industry insights and customer feedback.
  • Work cross-functionally with product management, sales, and engineering teams to maximize campaign impact and ensure alignment with global goals.
