About The Position

ZenGRC is seeking a candidate who will own the strategy and execution behind how our content gets discovered, ranked, and converted. This role blends content strategy, SEO, paid search, and social media performance to drive qualified inbound leads. The ideal candidate is data-driven and analytical, as well as a strong storyteller who can turn insights into engaging content. Responsibilities include creating high-performing content that is both algorithm-smart and human-centered, while continuously exploring ways to apply AI-driven optimization to enhance reach, personalization, and performance.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing, SEO, or performance content roles.
  • Deep understanding of SEO, SEM, and social algorithms — including recent AI-driven ranking changes.
  • Proven track record of growing organic traffic and improving conversion rates.
  • Strong writing and editing skills — ability to create content that ranks.
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush or other analytics tools.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and turn it into action.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM systems (HubSpot, Pardot, Marketo).
  • Familiarity with AI tools for content optimization.
  • Understanding of technical SEO.
  • Basic design or video editing skills for social content.
  • Familiarity with GRC, compliance, or cybersecurity industries.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute an SEO strategy that increases qualified traffic and conversions.
  • Conduct keyword and intent research to identify high-impact opportunities.
  • Optimize website and landing page content for search visibility and conversion rate.
  • Track, analyze, and report on SEO performance and continually test to improve results.
  • Build and manage backlink strategy (guest posts, PR mentions, partnerships, etc.).
  • Create and manage a content calendar that supports the buyer journey — from awareness to conversion.
  • Write or edit blogs, landing pages, and gated content optimized for search and conversion.
  • Collaborate with SMEs and product marketing to translate complex topics into engaging stories.
  • Use analytics and A/B testing to continuously improve content effectiveness and engagement.
  • Maintain brand voice consistency across all digital touchpoints.
  • Plan, execute, and optimize paid search (Google Ads, Bing) and paid social campaigns (LinkedIn, Meta).
  • Analyze performance across channels to identify trends and allocate budgets effectively.
  • Experiment with ad formats, audiences, and copy to improve CTRs and conversions.
  • Partner with designers to create visuals and video assets that enhance performance.
  • Understand how AI Overviews and zero-click search affect SEO strategy and how to adapt.
  • Build and optimize landing pages with strong UX and clear CTAs.
  • Own the performance funnel from impression → click → conversion.
  • Leverage tools like Google Analytics and Marketo to track metrics.
  • Present actionable insights and recommendations for continuous growth.
