About The Position

The Digital Content Manager is responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing digital content that supports Southwestern Consulting’s brand, marketing initiatives, and sales growth. This position oversees the company’s social media presence, email marketing campaigns, and digital content strategy while collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms. The Digital Content Manager works with coaches, sales team members, and marketing leadership to develop high-quality content that builds credibility, engages audiences, and drives lead generation. This position provides guidance and support to internal team members to strengthen their personal and professional social media presence in alignment with Southwestern Consulting’s brand and marketing strategy. The Digital Content Manager reports to the Senior Director of Marketing and works collaboratively with the marketing team, sales team, and company leadership to support company initiatives while demonstrating Southwestern Consulting’s core values and mission.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration or related field
  • 5 years of professional marketing experience including digital marketing, content marketing, or social media management
  • Experience creating and managing content across multiple digital platforms
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Ability to translate ideas and expertise into engaging digital content.
  • Experience managing social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data and optimize content strategies
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive digital content strategy aligned with company marketing objectives and brand positioning.
  • Create, edit, and repurpose content including social media posts, email campaigns, video content, graphics, and written materials.
  • Collaborate with coaches, sales consultants, and marketing team members to identify content opportunities that highlight expertise, client success stories, and thought leadership.
  • Coordinate the creation and distribution of content across multiple platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, email newsletters, and company websites.
  • Maintain consistent brand voice, messaging, and quality standards across all digital marketing channels.
  • Manage Southwestern Consulting’s social media channels, including planning, scheduling, posting, and monitoring performance.
  • Develop engaging social media campaigns that support lead generation, brand awareness, and community engagement.
  • Monitor social media trends, platform updates, and best practices to continually improve performance.
  • Analyze social media performance metrics and optimize content based on data and audience engagement.
  • Develop and execute email marketing campaigns to support lead nurturing, client engagement, and marketing initiatives.
  • Manage email marketing calendars and coordinate messaging across campaigns.
  • Write and edit compelling email copy designed to drive engagement and conversions.
  • Analyze email performance metrics and continuously improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to Southwestern Consulting sales team members and coaches on effective social media practices.
  • Assist internal team members with developing content ideas, messaging, and strategies to grow their personal brand and influence online.
  • Support the sales team in leveraging social media to build relationships, credibility, and opportunities with potential clients.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to repurpose content across multiple channels including websites, email campaigns, social media, and marketing collateral.
  • Coordinate with video, design, and marketing team members to produce high-quality multimedia content.
  • Ensure content is optimized for digital distribution and aligned with overall marketing campaigns and product launches.
  • Track performance metrics across social media, email marketing, and digital content initiatives.
  • Provide regular reporting and insights to marketing leadership on content performance and opportunities for improvement.
  • Continuously refine digital content strategies based on data, audience insights, and marketing goals.
