About the position
The Digital Content Creator will play a pivotal role in transforming creative ideas into visually stunning content for eCommerce platforms. This position involves crafting product images, banners, and website layouts while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance the user experience and maintain a strong visual identity for the brands. The role requires managing multiple projects, supporting SEO efforts, and continuously iterating designs based on customer feedback and analytics.
Responsibilities
- Project manage marketplaces and stores through their lifecycle, including managing stakeholders and multiple projects.
- Design and propose innovative visuals for various online media, including infographics and video content.
- Contribute to editorial calendar planning and collaborate with creative, marketing, and product management teams.
- Develop graphics for product illustrations, logos, product listings, and storefronts.
- Work proficiently with graphic design software, particularly Adobe Creative Suite.
- Iterate on designs based on customer feedback and data analytics.
- Develop insights and reporting using analytics tools, including A/B test experimentation.
- Manage the entire e-commerce design process from ideation to final execution and publication.
- Maintain clear communication with internal teams to ensure design alignment and cohesion.
- Stay updated with changes in design applications and industry developments.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in design, fine arts, or a related field is preferred.
- Expert knowledge of graphic design software, including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign (3+ years).
- Experience with eCommerce platforms (3+ years).
- Experience working cross-functionally and influencing without authority.
- Proven graphic design experience with an understanding of eCommerce platform design requirements and best practices.
- A keen eye for aesthetics and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines consistently.
- Knowledge of product photography is a plus.
- Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
- Ability to interact, communicate, and present ideas effectively.
- A solid understanding of the latest trends within the industry.
- Knowledgeable about SEO and digital media trends.
