The California Teachers Association (CTA) is one of California’s largest and most dynamic labor unions. In-depth knowledge of and experience with labor movement communications, union organizing and contract campaigns; an ability to inspire union members, staff, and communities to support CTA goals; and a deep commitment to the labor movement and public education are paramount to this role. The Digital Communications Organizer will be responsible for leading web strategy and development, creating and managing digital content and assets, and producing compelling visual content to support CTA’s mission and initiatives. This role requires technical website expertise, advanced graphic design skills, excellent writing and storytelling skills, and a demonstrated ability to apply digital organizing principles to engage and mobilize target audiences in a campaign setting.
