This position reports to the National Director of Communications and Marketing and U.S.VETS Los Angeles' Operations Manager and is responsible for implementing strategies to engage and grow the online and in-person communities integral to the prevention and advocacy programs housed at U.S.VETS Los Angeles, including the U.S.VETS Career Development Initiative and Career Network, Women Vets on Point, Outside the Wire, suicide prevention, national outreach and other programs. Ideal candidate brings exceptional planning, writing and storytelling skills, plus experience managing digital platforms including social media, blogs, websites and email marketing in a deadline-oriented, collaborative environment. The person in this role should be nimble, organized and self-motivated with an interest in promoting U.S.VETS’ impactful work and mission to key internal and external audiences.
