About The Position

The Digital Coach is responsible for recruiting and developing associates to meet staffing needs and achieve company growth. This role involves coordinating and overseeing job-related activities, building relationships with stakeholders, and supporting initiatives to meet business needs. Key aspects include identifying goals, measuring progress, addressing improvement opportunities, and fostering continuous learning. The coach provides supervision and development opportunities, including hiring, training, mentoring, and recognizing associates, while promoting a culture of belonging. The position also ensures compliance with company policies, supports the company's mission, values, and ethics, and provides guidance on business processes. The role emphasizes building high-performing teams, embracing diversity, and creating an inclusive workplace. It requires collaborative work, strong communication, talent attraction and retention, and empowering associates. The Digital Coach is expected to uphold integrity, ethics, and compliance, model Walmart values, and contribute to the company's regenerative goals by making a positive impact on associates, customers, and communities. Requirements

  • 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
  • For facilities that sell firearms, successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training.
  • For facilities that sell only ammunition and have state specific requirements, a current state issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required.
  • Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).

  • Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
  • Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
  • General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports to include the responsibility of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
