Beehive Federal Credit Union is seeking a part-time Digital Branch Agent to work in our Administration Office in Rexburg, ID. This position works a unique schedule of about 25 hours per week. Scheduled hours are 2:00pm to 7:00pm, four days per week, Monday-Friday; and rotating Saturdays from 9:00am to 2:00pm. The expected pay is $18.45 per hour, DOE.

Requirements

  • One to twelve months of similar or related experience required as well as a high school education or GED.
  • Work involves contact with persons beyond immediate associates regarding routine matters for the purpose of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion.
  • Outside contacts take the form of service to the public (member or vendors), requiring ordinary courtesy in providing assistance and information.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must have an understanding of computer systems, both hardware and software.
  • Good listening and telephone skills.
  • Perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs.
  • Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in emergency situation.
  • Must be able to operate routine office equipment including telephone, copier, facsimile, and calculator.
  • Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary.
  • Must be able to work extended hours whenever required or requested by management.
  • Must be capable of travel by automobile (as driver and passenger), commercial airlines, rental vehicles and public transportation and be able to lodge in public facilities.
  • Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance.

Responsibilities

  • Assists members and potential members with their requests
  • Answers questions about products and services and resolves problems that are within their authority to resolve.
  • Refers problems that are beyond their authority to their supervisor, along with their recommendations.
  • Communicate with members through multi-channel communication tools to confirm and educate members.
  • Scan and index varying credit union documents accurately.
  • Assist with day end duties.
  • Maintain member account information on computer system.
  • Performs other duties as assigned and performs all duties in compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act.
  • Works at or attends community events as assigned.
  • Strives in all that they do to enhance the member experience at BFCU, including actively engaging in needs-based cross-servicing.
