About The Position

The Digital Asset Specialist partners with cross-functional team members to continuously improve the digital asset management (DAM) platform used by Pampered Chef. This person collaborates with team leaders (Marketing, Field, Product & Technology) to make recommendations and apply best practices regarding taxonomy, metadata, asset lifecycle, and application training and troubleshooting. The DAM specialist is responsible for the overall day-to-day relationship management of the selected vendor(s) and helps troubleshoot any technical issues. The DAM manager actively helps plan and participates in midnight content deployments at the first of every month.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience supporting a Digital Asset Management system.
  • Technological aptitude.
  • Strong organizational skills, background in library and information science preferred.
  • Aptitude for learning creative elements of publication and marketing material production process.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting assets throughout their lifecycle-vetting, releasing, monitoring, auditing, and archiving.
  • Performing final review of marketing collateral (print & digital) prior to release to ensure assets are aligned to brand standards.
  • Reporting on DAM assets to requestors to inform future optimization, asset retiring, and new asset development.
  • Establishing DAM permissions based on role, market-specificity, and asset.
  • Applying library science principles and industry conventions to file naming and folder taxonomy, for standardization and consistency.
  • Planning, communicating, and supporting change management for updates to improve our systems or processes.
  • Owning relationship with DAM vendor.
  • Retrieving previously cataloged images/shoots.
  • Developing and acting as subject matter expert for Pampered Chef's specific implementation and usage of DAM system and integration points with other internal.
