Interns engage with Hasbro's beloved brands, gaining meaningful work-experience through day-to-day training, hands-on projects, executive exposure, individual development planning, and mentorship. Our program runs between June 9 - August 22, 2024. Our internships are paid! The Digital Asset Intern will work within the Digital Asset Management team at Hasbro, supporting the end-to-end lifecycle of digital assets approved for distribution through the content management system. From early concept artwork to final photography and in-store displays, learn corporate skills under the team of librarians, administrators, packaging and creative graphics specialists. Network with many cross functional teams in design, graphics, marketing, photo studios, eCommerce, and IT. We're looking for a candidate with strong digital workflow background, excellent interpersonal communication, intermediate experience with graphic software, proficient experience with Excel, and exceptional customer service & written communication. Requirements

  • Digital asset management experience, cataloguing, database administration, or digital library skills preferred.
  • Familiarity with standard process for metadata and digital asset management.
  • Excellent communication/customer service skills.
  • A focus on supporting partner teams all throughout Hasbro.
  • Some proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
  • A proficient understanding of principles being a Content Steward.

Nice To Haves

  • Enrollment in an accredited program: Bachelors or Masters of Library Science, Graphic Design, Art, IT, or Information Management preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Working on archiving projects supporting the DAM team staff, working under members with a MLIS degree.
  • Handling asset security, curation, metadata, and tracking to support global teams.
  • Asset tracking and communication, working on visibility of creative content in the DAM system using a variety of reports, databases, and internal programs.
  • Handling the access and archiving for photography, brand writing copy documents, videos, social media assets, and merchandising assets on Hasbro's Content Service Portal.
  • Ensuring secure release of IP-sensitive movie-related and/or licensed assets by adhering to Hasbro's Intellectual Property policy and release dates provided by marketing.
  • Providing dynamic and adaptive support while maintaining a high level of asset integrity.
  • Ensuring accurate content upload and naming conventions, applying security settings and release dates to individual assets.
  • Conducting periodic audits of assets by brand, policy and metadata tags in the content service portal.
