As a Digital Asset Management (DAM) Specialist at Applied Medical, you will be pivotal in enhancing our internal processes and systems. You will be at the forefront of our custom applications and digital asset projects, working closely with internal customers to understand their needs and translate them into actionable technical specifications. Your expertise will guide the development and implementation of innovative solutions that drive efficiency and effectiveness across our organization. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing our internal digital asset management processes and systems. You will lead discovery sessions with business units to gather and document requirements specifically related to digital asset management systems and workflows. Your responsibilities will include developing detailed specifications and functional requirements for developers and design teams, with a focus on DAM systems. You will collaborate with project managers, architects, QA teams, IT systems, and other stakeholders to define the scope and objectives of digital asset management projects. Additionally, you will conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to support decision-making for DAM system implementation and enhancements. Facilitating cross-functional collaboration and implementation plans will be essential to ensure the successful delivery of DAM-related projects. You will also perform data management and analysis within the context of DAM systems to support business decision-making related to digital content and asset lifecycle management. Conducting user acceptance testing (UAT) for DAM systems and providing feedback for improvements will be part of your ongoing responsibilities, along with providing support, maintenance, and configurations for implemented DAM systems, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the organization. Furthermore, you will mentor junior business analysts and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on DAM best practices.
