The Digital IT Technical Specialist (Level 1) will play a critical role in our business transformation journey which involves migration from legacy systems to industry 4.0 and enterprise digital systems like MES (SAP ME & DMC, GE Proficy), MOM, SCADA, and connected operational technology within discrete, batch, and continuous manufacturing process domains. In this role, you will be a subject matter expert for business processes, workflows, systems, and data. This position does not have direct reports but will require excellent analytical skills to understand and meet business requirements, solve problems using best practices and standard IT solutions. This is a hands-on systems/data analysis and technical role, that collaborates with the business users, technical teams, and vendors for solution implementation projects. You will play a champion role in identifying business requirements, analyzing current state business processes and systems, mapping requirements to future state system capabilities, and configuring, training, implementing, and supporting enterprise solutions. The role will also be responsible for maintaining/supporting one or more systems supporting manufacturing operations and enhancing/maintaining future state systems post project implementation. Typical methods and tools used include conducting root cause & corrective actions and working with business stakeholders and IT teams to drive improvements.
