Your Role: This role leads the Digital and E-commerce strategy for the Packaged Goods portfolio, including social content strategy, FA portal, email marketing. This role also works closely with the marketing teams of the Packaged Goods key accounts to ensure Elanco’s success with these strategic accounts through delivering insights and relentlessly high operational standards. In this role, you will partner with Key Account Managers and Brand managers to ensure Elanco is showing up digitally best in class, as well as explore innovative ways to identify and execute opportunities for new selection, merchandising, traffic and conversion drivers, and operational improvement. This role will partner with business analysts and brand managers to analyze data and trends to define the digital strategy to maximize growth of the Packaged Goods portfolio in small and large customers. Design compliant, scalable digital buying experiences and channel programs across self‑service portals, partner marketplaces, and distributor integrations. Enable Elanco e-commerce platform and work with the main online marketplaces to establish joint objectives and investments. Develop and enable tools to activate the digital presence in Elanco websites and 3rd parties websites. Content Strategy & Execution: Develop, implement, and manage digital content strategies and campaigns, including educational resources, product information, and customer success stories relevant to producers and veterinarians. Digital Channel Optimization: Identify, evaluate, and optimize digital channels (e.g., agricultural forums, industry-specific platforms, targeted social media groups) to effectively reach and engage the audience. Performance Analysis & Insights: Monitor and analyze digital performance metrics (e.g., website traffic, engagement, conversion rates) for content and campaigns, providing actionable insights to optimize future initiatives. Digital Sales Enablement: Collaborate with the sales team to develop and deploy digital tools and resources that support the sales process and enhance customer engagement. Emerging Digital Technologies: Research and recommend emerging digital technologies and platforms that can enhance Elanco's digital presence and impact within the animal health industry.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or Animal science
  • Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally to deliver results and identify business opportunities.
  • Required Experience: 5+ years marketing experience.
  • Proven track record of building and cultivating relationships with internal and external stakeholders driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts, and ensuring follow-through.
  • Experience using data analysis, reporting, and forecasting to guide business decisions and solve problems.
  • Track record of developing business plans with a demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguous situations while effectively managing multiple projects and priorities across teams.
  • U.S. Farm Animal industry knowledge

Responsibilities

  • In partnership with Key Account Managers, participate in business strategy development and design long term account plans, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and your accounts to find joint areas of opportunity to drive success.
  • Leads social content strategy with brand managers and agency inclusive of content calendar, community management, and cohesive approach across all social channels (Facebook, YouTube, IG).
  • Works with digital SMEs and agency to ensure search strategy for PG brands is supported with the right content in the right channel.
  • Acts as liaison with digital, IT, and web partners for activation of Elanco digital strategies (ex.ecommerce, email marketing, FA portal).
  • Act as a thought leader in defining success criteria, understanding business needs, and improving digital efficiency in an ever-changing business environment.
  • Ability to leverage end consumer data and demographics to define business driving insights.
  • Segment strategy by product class, species, production class, and buyer type; align channel mix (owned portal, distributors, marketplaces) to buyer digital preferences and self‑serve behaviors.
  • Ensure digital content accuracy for indications, use conditions, and cautions as per labels.
