About The Position

KLAS, 8 News Now the CBS affiliate in Las Vegas, Nevada is seeking a creative and experienced OBS Streaming Channel Anchor/Reporter. The ideal candidate will run the show! Hosting, producing, switching, editing, and uploading daily and special video content (including live breaking news).

Requirements

• 2–3 years of on camera work and video production experience.
• Solid OBS skills or experience with similar streaming software.
• A self-starter attitude.
• Awareness of current events and news.
• Understanding of journalism ethics.
• Great people skills.

Responsibilities

• Creative control of livestreams and video segments using OBS.
• Plan and pull off daily live shows, breaking news hits, and special projects.
• Book interviews, gather visuals, and prep rundowns.
• Work with our graphics team to keep everything looking sharp and on-brand.
• Team up with news, promotion, and digital team members to get your content seen and shared.
• Handle live-stream chaos, multitask, troubleshoot, and keep the show rolling.
• Learn the ins and outs of livestream setups and gear.
• Experiment and push boundaries in the digital space.
• Ensure attention to detail in content production.
