About The Position

UniFirst Corporation, one of North America’s largest uniform rental and facility service companies, is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Digital Analytics Intern to join the Marketing team. As a Digital Analytics Intern at UniFirst, you’ll focus on data-driven marketing projects that directly impact business growth. You’ll dive into conversion rate optimization (CRO), A/B testing, digital analytics, behavioral tracking, and paid media campaign analysis. You’ll also gain exposure to SEO, email marketing, and website management. Please note that this will be a hybrid position based at our corporate headquarters in Wilmington, MA, and will be for the summer internship cycle.

Requirements

  • Student currently enrolled in an accredited college/university bachelor's degree program in Marketing, Data Analytics, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to turn data into actionable insights.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, reporting).
  • Basic knowledge of Python for data analysis or automation.
  • Exposure to Google Analytics and interest in website performance tools.
  • Familiarity with heat map/behavioral tools (e.g., Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity).
  • WordPress knowledge is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented, motivated, and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Support CRO initiatives and help design and analyze A/B tests.
  • Interpret data from Google Analytics, click analytics, behavioral analytics, and heat maps to identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Track paid media campaign performance and recommend ways to improve efficiency and ROI.
  • Build and maintain reports/dashboards using Excel (pivot tables, formulas, macros) and Python for automation and analysis.
  • Evaluate website performance and user behavior to recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate on SEO and email marketing projects to gain cross-channel experience.
  • Present insights and recommendations clearly to the digital marketing team.
