About The Position
Position Summary: To work in conjunction with other healthcare professionals in identifying and providing medical nutrition therapy services for inpatients and/or outpatients identified and/or referred for moderate to extensive/complex diet education/counseling or nutrition therapy; to serve as a resource for patients, families, staff and the community; and to participate in quality assessment/process improvement activities related to nutritional care.
Requirements
- 6 months nutrition related (may include route to registration eligibility)
- Bachelors of Science (or Arts) Degree in Nutrition/Dietetics
- Registered Dietitian or Registry Eligible
- Able to read, write and speak the English language
- Clinical Skills for performing nutrition assessments for patients and documenting nutrition care plans, interpreting lab values and knowledge of enteral nutrition support
