About The Position

Immanuel Pathways PACE® is seeking a Full Time Days Dietitian to work at Pathways Southwest Iowa located at 1702 North 16th Street, Council Bluffs, IA 51501. The schedule for this position would be Monday-Friday 8a-4:30p. Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education. Job Duties & Skills Required What You Will Do Screens and assesses participant nutritional status for Immanuel Pathways. Uses pertinent data to plan and implement appropriate nutrition interventions and communicates the information to the Interdisciplinary Team to ensure the nutritional needs of the participants are met. Performs nutritional assessment and provides nutritional education for Immanuel Pathways participants requiring interventions. Coordinates serving of meals; monitors/coordinates kitchen facilities to ensure standards are met. Coordinates with contracted meal services to ensure meals meet the needs of the Immanuel Pathways participants. Provides education to other health care professionals, as appropriate. Skills & Requirements Bachelor’s or advanced degree from an accredited college with major studies in food and nutrition or dietetics is required. One (1) year of experience working with a frail or elderly population required.Two (2) years of experience in the dietetics and/or nutrition.One (1) year of management experience, preferably in a geriatric care setting required. Requirements
