The Clinical Dietitian is responsible for the nutrition management of all patients in assigned areas including nutritional assessment and development of nutrition care plan including enteral and parenteral nutrition support, goal implementation, and monitoring of patient outcome EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT(S): Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition/Dietetics (Didactic Program for Dietetics) required. Master’s Degree in Nutrition/Dietetics preferred. Registered Dietitian with Commission on Dietetic Registration required. Completion of Dietetic Internship and Registration with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics within 90 days of employment as dietitian if not credentialed at time of hire. Licensure with New York State as Certified Dietitian/Nutritionist is highly desirable. 1-2 years’ experience in hospital dietetics with progressing levels of responsibility in nutrition care areas is preferred.
