Requirements

Registered Dietitian
Licensed in Texas
Background in sports nutrition and working with athletes in high school and collegiate levels

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year clinical experience
Board Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD)

Responsibilities

Provides clinical assessments with regards to patient’s overall nutritional needs based on their medical diagnosis or performance enhancement requirements.
Follows recommended nutritional guidelines for all athletes and physically active individuals.
Provides nutrition related education to the area’s athletic programs and teams.
Provides Medical Nutrition Therapy to patients of all age groups according to Nutrition Care Process, and serves as a nutrition resource to the medical staff, hospital staff and the community.
