About The Position

The DaVita Registered Dietitian must have 1+ year of CLINICAL RD experience (hospital etc..) Approximately 10% of all dialysis patients reside in a SNF and are transported to dialysis three times a week placing a significant burden on patients and adding significant avoidable costs to the health care system. SNF dialysis patients receive dialysis treatment onsite at the Skilled Nursing Facility in which they reside. The RD will have a caseload of around 20 DaVita Skilled Nursing Facility Dialysis patients. The RD must be located in Connecticut so that they are able to visit each site 2-3 times per month.The SNF dialysis locations supported include: 09396 Parkville Care Center, 5 Greenwood St., Hartford, CT 06106 09393 Westside Care Center, LLC, 349 Bidwell St, Manchester, CT 06040 As a Registered Dietitian at DaVita, you’ll be a part of a Team that values work-life balance and where your personal and professional growth is a top priority. Requirements

• 1+ year of CLINICAL Registered Dietitian experience
• State licensure required if licensure is available in the state where the facility is located
• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or similar area required
• Ability to work flexible schedules, possibly for multiple facilities and travel when needed
• After hire and training, successful completion of the Competency Assessment for Renal Dietitians (CARD) with a score of at least 80% required
• Intermediate computer skills and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook required as well as functional proficiency with DaVita specific applications within 60 days
