This position serves as a registered licensed Dietician for the Mashpee Service Unit in Mashpee, Massachusetts or the Monacan Service Unit in Madison Heights, Virginia. This position develops and implements dietary programs with a special emphasis on chronic disease, prevention, and nutritional intervention.

Make professional decisions or recommendations concerning nutritional care and dietary changes.
Provide consultation, in-service training, education and nutrition/diet counseling to the staff and patients.
Conduct nutritional assessments of patients, developing care plans consistent with cultural, social and psychological requirements.
Assist with development of policies and procedures related to nutritional prevention and intervention.
Monitor and evaluate activities of nutrition and the special diabetes program for performance improvement.
Other duties as assigned.

U.S. Citizenship is required.
Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
Must meet one of the following educational requirements: Bachelor's or graduate degree in dietetics, food, nutrition, food service management, or related science from an accredited program; completion of a coordinated undergraduate program, internship, or other clinical component approved by AND; or professional registration as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN).
Minimum of one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service or two years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a master's degree.
Must successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check.
Background Investigation required.
