Shasta Regional Medical Center is a 226-bed acute care hospital offering inpatient, outpatient and wellness services. What You'll Do Conduct nutrition assessments and provide nutrition care for patients with a variety of disease states Provide general nutrition care for patients, residents, and the community in the delivery of our contractual agreement with the client Function as a nutrition resource to assigned patient care areas and foodservice staff Work with a patient‑centered approach and enthusiasm for building clinical competence while supporting evidence‑based nutrition care and hospital quality standards What We Offer Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience. Requirements

Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN)
Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team to support patient care
Strong organizational and time‑management skills to balance patient assessments, documentation, and clinical priorities in a hospital environment
Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills, including comfort with clinical documentation and use of electronic medical records (EMR)
Strong interest in building confidence and competency in clinical nutrition practice within a healthcare setting
Minimum Education Requirement: Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
