About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a full time Registered Dietitian to provide outpatient nutrition care at SSM Health DePaul Hospital which is a 450 bed acute care hospital located in the St. Louis metropolitan area in Bridgeton, MO.  Position will work ~ 32 hours per week with excellent benefits. Sodexo offers: Three weeks’ vacation and 3 personal days/year! Reimbursement for AND dues, state licensure fees, and CDR renewal! Money toward continuing education events! Up to $5000 tuition reimbursement annually! What You'll Do Position will report to Clinical Nutrition Manager and ideal candidate will: Provide MNT to a variety of patients, including but not limited to those with chronic kidney disease, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, gastrointestinal disorders, allergies, cancer, and malnutrition. Teach outpatient classes as needed, including cardiac rehab, with potential for expansion into other topics as experience/availability allows. Be available for opportunities to participate in community events such as health fairs Have excellent time management skills, capable of directing their own patient schedule. Create charge entries for services provided according to CMS benefit guidelines and by the direction of the SSM Revenue Integrity Department. Work with the Clinical Nutrition Manager and other Sodexo Management team to provide exemplary care to patients, staff, and community. Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement: Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
Minimum Management Experience: 7+ months general supervision
Minimum Functional Experience: 3 years experienced specialized practitioner in a clinical specialty
