About The Position

Come work for the world's leading private employer of Registered Dietitians! Sodexo is seeking a full time Registered Dietitian to come join their dynamic team at Corpus Christi Medical Center-Bay Area Hospital, a full-service, 250 bed, acute-care center offering inpatient and outpatient services including a 24-hour emergency department with a Level 2 Trauma unit and Level II/III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Remote charting capabilities offered but must live locally within 45-90 miles from location. This is hybrid position and does allow for generous flexibility with partial-remote charting when needed.

Requirements

• Registered Dietitian credentials and be licensed in TX
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Good time management skills
• Be a self-starter and a team player
• The ability to work well with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional care for a variety of inpatient units
• Work a rotating holiday coverage schedule providing hospital wide coverage (no weekends)
• Perform quality improvement initiatives within the nutrition department
• Educate health care team members, including physicians and nurses
• Assist the Food Service Management team, as needed
