Sodexo is seeking Full‑Time Registered Dietitians for Adventist Health and Rideout Regional Medical Center, located approximately 40 miles northeast of Greater Sacramento and 125 miles northeast of San Francisco, serving the communities of Yuba and Sutter Counties. The hospital is a 200‑bed Level III Trauma Center that has recently undergone a major expansion and has implemented the Sodexo Premier Room Service Program, enhancing the patient experience and overall satisfaction. Requirements

  • Registered Dietitian (RD) credential (or RD‑eligible, if applicable)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time‑management skills; self‑motivated and collaborative team player
  • Ability to work effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and ancillary healthcare professionals
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and advancement of clinical nutrition skills
  • Minimum Education Requirement: Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
  • For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
  • Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
  • Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire

Responsibilities

  • Provide Medical Nutrition Therapy to patients with a wide range of disease states
  • Conduct one‑on‑one nutrition assessments and patient education sessions
  • Educate patients, families, and healthcare staff on nutrition basics and therapeutic diet changes
