About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a fulltime Registered Dietitian to join our team at Ocala Regional Medical Center, a multi-site acute care hospital in Ocala, Florida. Ocala Regional Medical Center is a 323 licensed bed facility located in the heart of Ocala and features a Level I Trauma center, as well as cardiac, ICU, neurology and orthopedic services. This position is ideal for both a new Dietitian, as well as an experienced Dietitian. PRN opportunities too! This position may be eligible for a sign-on bonus!! Health Benefits start on Day 1! 3 weeks’ vacation and three personal days!Reimbursement for AND dues, state licensure fees, and CDR renewal!Money toward continuing education events!Up to $5000 tuition reimbursement annually! What You'll Do cover hospital wide including medical/surgical floors and ICU; interact with clinical team and other hospital departments to achieve team approach; will work every 4th Saturday w/possible remote hours available; participate in quality improvement projects within the department; and act as mentor to dietetic interns. Requirements

Registered Dietitian credentials and be licensed in FL is required
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Good time management skills be a self-starter and a team player
The ability to work well with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff
Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
