Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for a full-time inpatient position at Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital, a 220‑bed acute care facility located in Brockton, MA. In this role, you will join a dedicated team of clinical dietitians providing high-quality nutrition care. Requirements
- Registered Dietitian credentials with licensure in Massachusetts
- excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and interdisciplinary team members at all levels
- demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing needs
- a history of working independently with little direction and with a positive outlook
- a commitment to continued education in the nutrition field
- Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
- Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
Responsibilities
- maintain a strong working knowledge of nutrition standards of care for the inpatient setting, including critical care
- work rotating weekends and holidays providing hospital wide coverage
- serve as an active member of the multidisciplinary care team, with involvement in group education classes, committees and/or community outreach events as needed
- participate in performance improvement and/or outcome measurement initiatives
- mentor/coach Dietetic Interns.
