About The Position

We’re looking for qualified Dietitians to join our Texas Health family. Is that you? Work location: Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Ln. TX 75231. Work hours: PRN, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM and at least 1 weekend a month. Department highlights: A collaborative and supportive environment with excellent teamwork.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics, Food and Nutrition or related area required.
• 1 Year health care experience preferred.
• Experience in both adult and NICU population preferred.
• 1 year of hospital inpatient experience and both enteral and parenteral involvement preferred.
• RD - Registered Dietitian 6 Months required.
• LD - Licensed Dietitian 6 Months required.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes each step of the Nutrition Care Process effectively and efficiently to provide Medical Nutrition Therapy to assigned patient populations.
• Promotes team work and supports organizational goals by demonstrating flexibility in scheduling and shift assignments.
• Willingly takes on work to even out case load or meet schedule deadlines.
• Effectively collaborates with peers so that essential shifts are covered.
• Promotes safe and effective care through effective communication and work flow practices.
• Promotes Quality in Practice through systematic measurement of outcomes, regular performance evaluations, and continuous improvement.
• Maintains competence through ongoing self-evaluation and study aimed at identifying and closing relevant professional knowledge and/or performance gaps.
