About The Position

Take the next step in your career with TouchPoint as a DIETITIAN, ADVANCED PRACTICE in Detroit, MI! The position involves working with a pediatric patient population and requires a Registered Dietitian (RD) with at least 2 years of experience in a pediatric setting. The schedule is Monday to Friday with rotating weekends. The role includes providing nutritional services, collaborating with teams, and ensuring nutrition plans are implemented according to departmental standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and Registered Dietitian in accordance with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
  • Minimum of two to three years of professional experience as a Registered Dietitian.
  • Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing Board in states where applicable.
  • Experience with computers and programs including Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced Practitioner Certification and other advanced practice certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provides nutrition assessment, modified diet formulation, self-management training and nutrition intervention.
  • Complies with all regulatory standards, including federal, state and accrediting agencies.
  • Adheres to facility confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and patient rights policies where applicable.
  • Participates in facility-wide and departmental Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement Programs.
  • Identifies weekly treatment goals and communicates individual client needs to treatment team.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
