Supervises the nutritional aspects of patient care. Provides nutrition education/counseling to both inpatients and outpatients. Coordinates clinical nutrition with food service operations for delivery of patient care. Prepares and oversees implementation al all therapeutic diets and approves the diet manual. Attests to the nutritional adequacy of all foods served. Additional services may include community group presentations, education and participation in health fairs. Review of electronic medical record may be done off site. Onsite service is required for outpatient consultations, nutrition staff meetings and occasionally as requested by clinical staff.
