PACS is seeking a talented accounting professional to join our reporting team. You will be a key player in creating and providing valuable information to both internal and external stakeholders across the US. General Purpose: To assist in providing food service and nutritional programs, under the supervision of a registered dietician. The role may involve planning and producing meals based on established guidelines, teaching principles of food and nutrition, or counseling individuals. PACS is revolutionizing the delivery and leadership of post-acute healthcare and support services across the country. Requirements

  • Registered Dietitian with the Commission of Dietetic Registration or eligible.
  • Licensed Dietitian in the local state.
  • Must maintain all required continuing education/licensing.
  • Must remain in good standing with the Department of Public Health License and Certification Division at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the coordination of nutrition care services with the Dietary Supervisor.
  • Conduct nutritional initial, quarterly, annual, and significant change reviews on residents according to federal and state guidelines.
  • Assess nutritional needs, diet restrictions, and current health plans to develop and implement dietary care plans and provide nutritional counseling as needed.
  • Monitor food services operations to ensure conformance to nutritional, safety, sanitation, and quality standards, as well as state and federal regulations.
  • Participate in food preparation and service of food that is safe, appetizing, and meets the quality and quantity to meet each resident's needs in accordance with the physician’s orders.
