About The Position

The Dietetic Technician, Registered (DTR) plays a crucial role in the nutrition team at Clinical Nutrition Consulting Services, LLC, focusing on the dietary and nutritional needs of residents. Requirements

• Degree from an accredited Dietetic Technician program.
• Current registration by the Commission on Dietetics Registration.

Responsibilities

• Assess nutritional needs, diet restrictions, and current health plans to develop, implement, and document nutrition assessments and care plans.
• Assist and advise residents and their families on nutritional principles, intervention plans, diet modifications, and food selection and preparation.
• Counsel individuals and groups on good nutrition, healthy eating habits, and nutrition monitoring to enhance their quality of life.
• Perform monthly quality inspections and audits of meals served to ensure compliance with prescribed diets and standards of palatability and appearance.
• Advise the Food and Nutrition Services Manager on sanitation, safety procedures, and planning to assist with the establishment and evaluation of food service facilities and nutrition programs.
