About The Position

The position involves working closely with nutritionists to enhance the well-being of patients through dietary support. The role includes providing nutritional care and following up with patients to ensure their dietary needs are met. Effective communication of patients' nutritional information to other health professionals is also a key responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates patient's meal plans with healthcare professionals and nutritionists.
• Takes patient meal orders via phone and at the bedside.
• Assists with meal selections while taking into consideration cultural and/or religious preferences.
• Monitors patient meal tickets, reviewing and modifying as needed to comply with prescribed diet order.
• Processes new diets, changes, tube feedings, and NPO orders efficiently while keeping accurate records.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
