About The Position

Adventist Healthcare seeks to hire an experienced Dietetic Assistant II for our Food Services department who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As a Dietetic Assistant II, you will be responsible for passing, setting up, and picking up all the patient food trays daily (breakfast and lunch). You will also be responsible for the passing and picking up of the patient menus, checking the menus to ensure they are accurate and correct according to the doctor's diet order. Additionally, you will visit patients at meals, monitor meal acceptance, and resolve challenging food service problems in such a way as to maximize patient satisfaction.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Food Handlers Certification a plus.
• 1-2 years’ hospital food service experience a plus.

Responsibilities
