About The Position

The Assistant Cook/Cook is responsible for the preparation and serving of breakfast, lunch and dinner meals for patients and facility staff according to the approved menu cycle and production sheets.

Requirements

  • Prior kitchen experience helpful.
  • Must be able to read and write the English language.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Knowledge of kitchen operations and procedures.
  • Skill in organizing/prioritizing workloads to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to read menus/recipes.
