About The Position

Responsible for the accurate recording of patient diets in the patient electronic medical record and the updating of changes as necessary to ensure quality service to patient for optimum health.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in the English language.
  • Previous experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of proper food handling and storage required.
  • Knowledge of computer operations.
  • Southern Nevada Health District Food Handler's Safety Training Card.

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide service within the physician's prescription to the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
  • Ability to work and cooperate with members of hospital staff.
