Dietary Supervisor (Full-Time)
About The Position
Excel at Woodbury for Rehab and Nursing is looking to hire a Full-Time Food Service Supervisor. Nursing Home Kitchen Experience a must! Duties include: Plan, assign and inspect the work of Food Service Staff. Schedule and assign staff, prepare department payroll for data entry if required. Manage and maintain departmental budgets. Supervise the storage & care of food and supplies. Oversee the cleaning of the kitchen, storage, dining areas, and equipment. Inspects Residents' trays for consistency with a specified menu. Coordinates and plans food preparation activities for special events. Work with the interdisciplinary team to ensure Residents' requests and needs are being met.
Requirements
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
- Supervisory Food Service experience at a healthcare facility
- ServSafe or similar certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of large scale & therapeutic food prep
- Solid leadership and supervisory skills
- Prior management experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be able to work as a team member
