Join our Dietary Services teams with Main Line Health's Hospitals as a Nutritional Host or Food Service Assistant. We are looking for motivated candidates interested in a rewarding career in food service. This position offers various shifts including full-time, part-time, weekends, and as needed/per diem. Employees are required to work every other weekend and rotating holidays. Most schedules include a mix of 8-hour shifts (6am-2:30pm & 11am-7:30pm) and 4-hour shifts (3pm-7pm). Positions working 20 hours per week are eligible for benefits.

  • Assist in food preparation and service
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of food service areas
  • Communicate effectively with team members and patients
  • Participate in catering events and departmental activities
  • Support the nutritional needs of patients and staff
  • 0-3 years of culinary arts experience in a food service setting
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate English sufficiently
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Associates Degree in Culinary Arts (preferred)
  • Experience in a healthcare food service environment
  • Knowledge of dietary restrictions and nutrition
  • Earn up to 120 hours PTO
