About The Position

Join our Dietary Services teams with Main Line Health's Hospitals as a Nutritional Host or Food Service Assistant. We are looking for motivated candidates interested in a rewarding career in food service. This position offers various shifts including full-time, part-time, weekends, and as needed/per diem. Every other weekend and rotating holidays are required. Most schedules include a mix of 8-hour shifts (6am-2:30pm & 11am-7:30pm) and 4-hour shifts (3pm-7pm). Positions working 20 hours are benefits eligible.

Requirements

• 0-3 years of culinary arts experience in a food service setting.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• An Associate's Degree in Culinary Arts is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food service operations across various hospital locations.
• Work with employees across departments and assist with catering events.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and staff.
