About The Position

Sunrise Retirement is seeking an outgoing and friendly Part-time Dietary Server for our nursing neighborhoods. Hours: 5am- 1:30pm, 2 days a week, plus every other weekend required. Responsibilities include: To remove and clean dishes after each meal. To make sure all operations of the dishwasher are functioning properly. To see that all dishes, silverware cups, etc. are clean and sterile. Set up and clear tables. Serves drinks and food to residents. Clean dining room floors. Clean work areas for next shift. Some light cooking.

Requirements

Able to follow oral and written directions.
Able to work alone and to maintain a steady work pace to produce an adequate supply of clean kitchen utensils and dishes.
Able to scrape soiled dishes, place the dishes into dish machine, and supervise the travel of dishes through the dish machine.
Able to operate an automated dish washing solution dispensing system.
Able to operate automatic coffee machine.
Able to sort clean dishes and to transport the dishes to storage area.
Able to clean work area.
Able to attend in-service training programs for food service employees.
Able to observe infection control procedures related to the Dietary Department as well as the ability to follow facility safety program.
Able to follow Resident’s Rights policies at all times.
Able to come to work as scheduled and consistently demonstrate dependability and punctuality.
Able to accept assigned duties in a cooperative manner.
Able to perform other related duties as directed by supervisor
