About The Position

Dietary Server: We are looking for a dietary server for our Independent Living Retirement Community. TownView is a retirement community offering our residents a community energized by Johnson City’s vibrant downtown, friendly neighbors, a wide range of activities and events, and a wealth of amenities, including flavorful dining choices every day. Providing a hospitable dining service in a beautiful dining room, where friends gather to enjoy their dining choices, in the company and fellowship of others. Dietary Server Primary Responsibilities: Serve our residents in a positive and friendly manner. Present preordered dining choices in a prompt and efficient manner. Maintain dining ambiance with an enthusiastic attitude creating and maintaining an atmosphere of warmth and always inviting. Assist in making new residents feel at home and guests welcome. Respond to additional resident requests by inquiring of needs and observing dining process. Prepare room for each dining meal by clothing tables, condiments, napkins, and utensils. Assist in maintaining all work/storage areas in a clean and properly always arranged manner. Always follow all safety regulations, reporting all accidents/incidents as established by department policies. Follow all dining services procedures in accordance with established policies. Other duties as deemed necessary and appropriate or as directed by manager.
