About The Position

The Dietary Server is responsible for setting up and restocking food items in the soup, salad, and dessert areas of the server line, ensuring proper portions, temperature, and appearance. The role involves serving food to customers according to portion control guidelines, replenishing counters, and maintaining cleanliness during serving hours. The server must demonstrate positive customer relations and confidentiality while operating the cash register during meal periods. Additionally, the Dietary Server is expected to have basic computer skills and knowledge of special diets, as well as the ability to deliver food trays to patients and staff in a courteous manner.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Familiarity with cafeteria and servery operations.
• Ability to set up cafeteria lines and set tables for banquets.

Responsibilities

• Follow servery, tray line, and cashier duty sheets.
• Comply with division policies, procedures, and safety standards.
