About The Position

O'Neill Healthcare Bay Village is looking for an experienced Dietary Manager to join our team! Works as the primary contact for the dietary department with residents and their families in regard to meeting nutritional needs and food preferences. Interact with vendors, staff department, and other departments. staff in maintaining departmental and facility policies and procedures within departmental daily operations. 2. Exercise discretion and independent judgment in daily operations of the dietary department (i.e. scheduling of staff, ordering, etc.) 3. Oversee sanitation and safety procedures. 4. Train, evaluate, supervise, and schedule the kitchen personnel in food preparation. 5. Inventory and purchasing of food supplies and paper products. 6. Visit residents upon admission to determine food preference and special dietary needs. 7. Must project a positive attitude and promote the facility and the staff/residents in a positive manner. 8. Any other duties as assigned by the Administrator QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Must have a current food service certificate. 2. Must enjoy working with the elderly and possess a positive ability to work with others. 3. Must be in good health with no lifting restrictions, neat, and clean. 4. Requirements

Must have a current food service certificate.
Must enjoy working with the elderly and possess a positive ability to work with others.
Must be in good health with no lifting restrictions, neat, and clean.
