About The Position

Maintains rotating menu and orders supplies within established budgets. Ensures proper storage, labeling, and dating of food per guidelines. Monitors HACCP programs, checks food temperatures, and maintains sanitation and food safety practices. Prepares meals according to the menu cycle, emphasizing attractiveness and taste. Interacts with patients and staff, modeling customer service. Assists in cleaning, ensures staff follows cleaning schedules, and maintains equipment. Makes dietary staff schedules, ensuring snacks align with resident preferences and physician orders. Practices safety, infection control, and emergency procedures. Coaches and trains dietary staff. Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or relevant work experience combination.
  • Must be 21 yrs or older.
  • Food Safe Certification
