About The Position

Dietary Cook – Part Time Sunnyvale Post Acute – Sunnyvale, CA Starting Pay: $22/hour DOE (Depending on Experience) Join our team at Sunnyvale Post Acute! We are seeking a reliable, motivated Part-Time Dietary Cook to support our residents by preparing nutritious, well‑balanced meals in a warm, caring environment. Requirements

  • Previous cooking experience required (healthcare or long-term care preferred)
  • Ability to follow recipes and dietary guidelines
  • Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • Strong time‑management and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve meals according to facility menus and dietary requirements
  • Follow recipes, portion guidelines, and food safety standards
  • Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and work area
  • Assist with inventory, food storage, and supply rotation
  • Work collaboratively with dietary staff to ensure timely, high‑quality meal service
  • Accommodate resident dietary needs, preferences, and restrictions
