Lorien Taneytown is hiring a Dietary Cook to join our dynamic team! Lorien Taneytown, located in beautiful Carroll County, MD near the southern PA border, is a vibrant Nursing Home and Assisted Living community offering skilled nursing, rehabilitation services, and both in- and outpatient therapy. Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older to apply
Every-other weekend availability (Saturday and Sunday)

Nice To Haves

Previous cooking experience in a healthcare or assisted living setting is a plus!

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook meals according to dietary guidelines and resident preferences
Incorporate new cooking methods and techniques to enhance menu offerings
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment
Follow portioning, serving, and food safety standards
Work closely with the dietary team to ensure smooth, efficient meal service
Create enjoyable dining experiences for residents with quality, presentation, and taste
