Requirements

  • At least 17 years of age.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • At least one month of applicable experience or training.
  • Ability to effectively able to read and interpret documents.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare a variety of meals and snacks for all dietary needs.
  • Ensure meals look great, taste great, and meet health codes.
  • Help plan and portion food accurately to reduce waste.
  • Keep kitchen and serving areas clean and organized.
  • Collaborate with a supportive team and lead when needed.
  • Interact kindly and professionally with residents and staff.
  • Stay up to date with dietary trends and continuing education.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
