NEW REFERRAL BONUS! We pay based on experience! WE HAVE ON-DEMAND PAY! ACCESS YOUR PAY AS YOU EARN IT! We are hiring a Dietary Cookfor: Part-Time (5) 4hr shifts per week, 4:00PM-8:00PM! Dietary Cook Position Summary The Dietary Cook will ensure the overall coordination of food preparation, cooking, and the quality and nutritional value of foods prepared. Requirements

  • Must possess a minimum of a high school diploma or GED
  • Must have basic math skills

Nice To Haves

  • ServSafe certification preferred
  • Prior Dietary / Nursing Home Experience is a plus!

Responsibilities

  • Directing the preparation of all food served using recipes and special diet orders.
  • Determine amount and type of food and supplies required for menus.
  • Sees that supplies are obtained from storage areas in adequate time for meal production.
  • Coordinating meal production with meal serving hours so that food quality, temperature, and appearance is preserved.
  • Keeps work area clean and sanitary at all times.
  • Follows all Federal, State, ServSafe, and other food service regulations in order to assure that food is handled safely
  • Assisting with dietary aide duties as needed.
