The primary purpose of the Dietary Cook is to prepare food in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, with our established policies and procedures, and as may be directed by the Head Cook and/or Director of Food Services, to assure that quality food service is provided at all times. Requirements

  • Prior experience cooking for large groups, such as event catering, school cafeteria, hospital or long term care facility required
  • Must be timely and dependable!

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience cooking in a healthcare setting and knowledge of therapeutic diets preferred
  • ServeSafe Level 2 certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Cooking tasty and visually appealing food per corporate menus and recipes while adhering to best food safety practices
  • Plating meals in a visually appealing manner
  • Maintaining an orderly and sanitary kitchen
