Requirements

Education High School Diploma, GED or verification of current enrollment preferred. Equivalent combination of experience.
Must be 16 years of age.
Licenses No professional license required.
Must obtain Food Handlers Card or ServSafe Certification within 60 days of hire.
1-2 years related experience required or preferred.
Immunizations required for employment, including flu vaccine

Responsibilities

Reliable and punctual attendance is essential; expected to be at job as scheduled each scheduled day.
Communicate necessary information to others as appropriate.
Prepare meals according to therapeutic diet.
Follow standardized recipes according to menu.
Organize meal preparation to accommodate meal times set by department.
Follow and meet HACCP and Mesa County Health Department sanitation standards during meal preparation.
Perform any additional job request that a Supervisor may ask in order for the resident meals to be served on time.
Other job related duties as assigned.
